"My favorite thing about Angels Among Us is that everyone can help with our projects" said Maggie Jones, president. "Whether it is by picking up an Angel from the tree, purchasing school supplies in the summer or even referring someone who needs help, everyone can be involved! There are definitely Angels Among Us."
Angels Among Us was organized in 2006 by a group of individuals that wanted to make a difference. It started out with a community based Angel Tree and has now expanded into three main service projects. With the help of our community, we've been able to install new windows and fix wheelchair ramps among other things in local senior homes. We take school supplies to all the schools in Uinta County School Districts #1, 4 and 6. Our angel tree has gone from helping about 100 children and seniors to close to 400 in 2014! |
We couldn't accomplish all these things without your help. Santa wouldn't be Santa without his elves. We have so many volunteers that donate their time to help us wrap gifts, deliver presents and help us find amazing gifts.
Angels Among Us received the Service Organization of the Year Award from the Evanston Chamber of Commerce in 2014. |
